About

Jennifer Farrar is a member of Romance Writers of America, the Young Adult Chapter of RWA and Savvy Authors. She has worked as a dishwasher, preschool aide and Family Literacy tutor. Dressed as Raggedy Ann, she volunteered for the sick for the Adventures in Caring Foundation. She earned a B.A. in Communication and a Marketing Professional Certificate. She continues her writing and marketing education by taking online courses through RWA.

Since the age of three, Jennifer has been a dancer of ballet, tap and jazz. In eighth grade, she played Lucy in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Jillian (not Jacob) Marley in A Christmas Carol. (Fact: Her family used to call her Lucy when she’d boss around her 2 younger brothers. Lucy actually had 2 brothers named Linus and Rerun.) In high school, she used her dancing skills to become a drama geek, scoring a lead dancer role in The Music Man, and her favorite role, as Ursula Merkle, the dorky best friend, in Bye Bye Birdie. She sang second soprano in the high school vocal ensemble, but sadly, never scored a coveted solo.

Now, she practices yoga and meditation, sings in the car at the top of her lungs, and dances when she’s done with revisions or when it’s Friday. Jennifer enjoys writing contemporary and paranormal romances for young adults and adults.
