Jenn,* also known to her husband and friends, as Jennado (rhymes with “tornado”), Genny-fo, JennZilla, or Jennclopedia***, My Lil’ Honey Badger, but never, ever, as Jenny, except by her family, has worked as a dishwasher, preschool aide and Family Literacy tutor. Dressed as Raggedy Ann, she volunteered for the sick for the Adventures in Caring Foundation. She earned a B.A. in Communication and a Marketing Professional Certificate from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She continues her artistic endeavors by taking too many photos and writing her new romcom novel.

Since the age of three, Jennifer has been a dancer of ballet, tap and jazz. In eighth grade, she played Lucy in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Jillian (not Jacob) Marley in A Christmas Carol. In high school, she used her dancing skills to become a drama geek (Drama Queen), scoring a lead dancer role in The Music Man, and her favorite role, as Ursula Merkle, the dorky best friend, in Bye Bye Birdie. She sang second soprano in the high school vocal ensemble, but sadly, never scored a coveted solo. (Is this bio too long? I feel like you’re bored.)

Jenn has always loved taking pictures and wrote a book report in elementary school on Dorothea Lange. She credits her seventh grade photography teacher Mr. Hansen for teaching her the rule of thirds. In January 2025, she was home sick and Bored Out of Her Mind watching TV for Four Whole Days, when she saw a random Instagram reel that inspired her to explore Stock Photography. This creative endeavor has been her catalyst to start writing again, after a “Writing Sabbatical.” She credits Elizabeth Gilbert’s Big Magic book on creativity for this artistic connection.

Jenn practices French, meditation, yoga, sings in the car at the top of her lungs, and happy dances when it’s Thursday. (Yes, Thursday.) Jennifer loves taking pictures and writing contemporary romance.
